FAMILYFree Geek is a growing family. We're in the process of trademarking our name (so that we'll have guaranteed use of it in the future, and so that what the name "Free Geek" means is relatively consistent throughout the world). Those wanting to use the name can apply for its use. If a prospective Free Geek follows our basic principles (see below), they're allowed the use of the name. They also sit on the body which determines whether newly-applied Free Geeks may use the name. Because we're committed to maintaining an egalitarian, cooperative workplace, our principles are based largely on the Rochdale Principles.
