SALARY RANGE: $40,000-$60,000 (initial salary ordinarily not more than median)

 

The Director of Public Services is part of a three­ person Senior Management Team that shares executive responsibility for the organization of Free Geek as a whole. This position is specifically responsible for connecting with the community while ensuring quality, responsive educational programs and customer, volunteer and donor satisfaction. The incumbent will be expected to cultivate external organizational partners, relationships with donors, and build team strength and cohesion across all organizational levels in the Public Services Department. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with representatives from businesses and governments, as well as prospective volunteers, to show off our amazing programs. Sharing the executive management responsibilities with two other senior managers makes decision-making more powerful and fun.

Now hiring a Public Services Staff Member (Front Desk & Outreach)

JOB TITLE: Public Services Staff Member

CLASS: Bargaining Unit

REPORTS TO: Director of Public Services

 

Do you thrive on the opportunity to engage with people? Are you excited to energize our amazing donors to give more while helping us share accurate information about how Free Geek battles e-waste and the digital divide? Free Geek Public Services Staff Members work in several high-energy, high-volume service areas which support a broad range of educational, volunteer, hardware grant, and sales activities. Our staff are expected to achieve stated performance goals as well as recommend improvements to procedures and policies.

 

Free Geek will fill one 16-hour/week position that is primarily responsible for constituent relationship management at the donor desk and outreach. Applicants must be available to work 9am-6pm on Saturdays. Please see the full job description for further responsibilities and requirements.
