At Free Geek we’re passionate about creating a better future by sustainably reusing technology, enabling digital access, and providing education to create a community that empowers people to realize their potential.
We do this by refurbishing and recycling used technology to provide computers and technology skills training to individuals in exchange for volunteer service. Free Geek also grants computers to schools, nonprofits, and charitable organizations.

In 2016, Free Geek recycled 1,062,000 pounds of e-waste with the support of 45,000 volunteer hours. 42,330 technology products were returned to the community to be re-used.

JOB TITLE: Manager of Online Experience
STATUS: 1.0 FTE, Salary At-will, Exempt
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
Free Geek is seeking a retail manager to lead our online sales, bulk sales, and shipping teams to deliver measurable results for the online market facing operations of Free Geek. You lead the team to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that result in excellent customer experience and Free Geek loyalty. You create excitement for the Free Geek mission, marketing programs, and sales efforts. You recognize that the customer experience doesn’t stop when our customers obtain our equipment but continues through their continued relationship with Free Geek and our mission. We are seeking a leader with demonstrated experience in technology retail and online sales environments who inspires and instills a sense of ownership in their team to reach their goals and challenges the status quo and what is achievable.
