To continue our growth, we are seeking a Coordinator of Digital Inclusion Programs to help us in continuing toward our goal of including everyone in our digital future!

What Do We Need From This Position? 

The Coordinator of Digital Inclusion Programs  is responsible for delivering on Free Geek’s mission to close the gap on the digital divide by enabling equitable access to devices, affordable internet, and other resources to underserved communities.
 

In partnership with the Manager of Programs and the Executive Director, this role is responsible for coordinating the scope of work for our Digital Navigators, stewarding relationships with community partners and for executing the fulfillment of our Affordable Technology Program contracts. The Coordinator of Digital Inclusion Programs will also support in managing education schedules, deliver training to new and existing digital inclusion employees, help with department strategy development, and organize community events and focus groups.
 

Alongside the Digital Navigators, this role will assist community members and partner organizations who need assistance with devices, affordable connectivity services, and coaching in foundational digital skills. This assistance is provided by phone, in-person, virtually, and any other communication methods that work for the learner.
 

Essential Duties

  1. Coordinates classes and basic digital literacy trainings and deploys Digital Navigators where needed to meet the digital needs of our community partners or program participants.   
  2. Focuses on building new contracts and meaningful relationships and fulfilling Affordable Technology Program orders in partnership with the Manager of Programs and Executive Director for technology procurement. 
  3. Proactively participates in digital inclusion initiatives and projects with community based organizations, local and state government, and other partners aligned with Free Geek’s mission.
  4. Attends and is engaged in the Community Coalition for Digital Equity.
  5. Accurately tracks and keeps data, and reports outcomes in a timely manner.
