Tech Support is available Tuesday-Saturday from 10am to 5:45pm (closed Sunday and Monday).

We provide technical support on most systems obtained from Free Geek, provided (a) no major changes to hardware have been made and (b) the system has the same operating system as at the time of purchase.

Other Services

Out of Warranty Support: We can provide support for systems one year after the end of the warranty period. This extended support is offered at $30 plus the cost of parts.

Backup and Transfer of Data: Our technicians can backup and transfer data from your donatable items before you hand them over. There is a $30 fee per hard drive for this service, plus the cost of a storage device if you need us to provide one. A surcharge of $20 applies if data recovery is needed.

Linux Install: We can perform an install of Linux Mint on your non-Free Geek computer system for $40. This includes a backup of data from your old system, restoration of data onto your new Linux OS, system testing, and 6 months of tech support.
